After six years of bringing the fun science to the families and students in Luzon, this out-of-this-world attraction is finally here in Davao City.
I was excited in the opening of the SM Science Discovery Center here in SM Lanang Premier, as this is another first for Davao City and Mindanao as a whole.
October 1 was the launching the 2nd branch of science center in the Philippines. The first of its kind in Visayas and Mindanao.
This highly interactive tech based 2,000 square meter science center opens on a world of opportunities for the young people to study science in the most fun, entertaining and
appealing way. By infusing up to date technology and explaining a variety of concepts in science and technology. It complements the way students learn beyond the four corners in the classroom.
With the Science Discovery Centers 10 interactive theme galleries which allow guest to learn about Geology,Biology,the Climate, the Body, Energy and Transportation,Technology and Engineering and the Future in the most enjoyable and entertaining way of letting visitors get a chance to explore and experience science.
The inclusion of the eighty (80) seater full dome Digital Planetarium equipped with the world's most sophisticated and advanced planetarium projector system, the digistar 5. The 3d graphics and sound effects lets viewers watch fascinating shows about astronomy and night sky to name a few. This facilities ensure a world class learning experience for guest to young and old.
SM Science Discovery Center will be the leading destination for hands on science fun here in Mindanao.
I encourage all parents and their kids to visit and create bonding moment together. And also educators and their students to come and discover science in the centers various attractions.
