JOLLY COW INTRODUCES NEW CHOCOLATE MILK TO FALL IN LOVE WITH

Dec 21, 2016
As a chocolate lover, I'm rejoicing when I received these 10 liters of Jolly Cow Chocolate Milk for product review.

I've tried different labels of chocolate drinks before but this time I'm switching to this Jolly Cow brand because I just love the taste and it is so addictive and so appealing to my appetite.

I love it when I drink it cold but when there are times that I want to unwind, I will simply put the Jolly Cow chocolate milk into a bowl of hot water to make it a perfect hot chocolate milk to sip. Then after emptying it, I will feel relax and stress-free. Ultimately, Jolly Cow Chocolate Milk drink is an energy booster as well. So, I highly recommend it.

But before that, allow me to share to you how I satisfy my curiousity, I did some further research to compare the difference between chocolate milk and chocolate drink.

Chocolate milk ingredients are made from 100% pure cow's milk, real cocoa, sugar and No Vegetable Fats added. While chocolate drinks are water, skim milk powder, refined sugar, vegetable fats (coconut oil, palm oil or palm kernel oil), milk fat, cocoa powder, stabilizers and vintamins and minerals.

Then checking the labels of Jolly Cow Chocolate milk, its ingredients are made from 100% Jolly Cow’s milk with 2.6 butterfat, giving it a creamier and tastier taste, made from real cocoa, minimal sugar content and No Vegetable Fats added.

Jolly Cow Chocolate Milk  is the healthier alternative to regular Chocolate drink. It is made from 100% Pure Cow’s Milk, sugar and pure cocoa. It gives you the creamy taste of fresh milk and chocolatey taste of pure cocoa.

Nothing can be as “REAL” and chocolicious as the Jolly Cow Chocolate Milk.
A must try!

Press Release:PLDT Home Fibr reaches 2.5M homes nationwide, widest fiber coverage in PH

Nov 14, 2016

MANILA, Philippines, November 10, 2016 – PLDT Home Fibr, the nation’s most powerful broadband from

leading telco and digital services provider PLDT, now passes over 2.5 million homes from as far north as Ilocos Norte to southern Philippines in South Cotabato province, further extending its widest fiber coverage in the country.

PLDT Chairman and CEO Manuel V. Pangilinan

“As a result of our aggressive rollout program, PLDT now has over 140,000 kilometers of fiber optic cables, the most extensive fiber infrastructure in the country. This enables us to serve the increasing demand for high-speed broadband from homes across the country,” PLDT Chairman and CEO Manuel V. Pangilinan said.

The PLDT Group’s expanded nationwide fiber optic network will enable even more homes to enjoy seamless and lag-free internet access from as far north as Laoag, Baguio City, Vigan City, and Tuguegarao, all the way to central and southern Luzon, including Tarlac, Cabanatuan City, and San Fernando, Pampanga, and Puerto Princesa and El Nido in Palawan; down to the Bicol region to stretch to Sorsogon, Naga City, and Legazpi City.

Meanwhile, the major urban areas in the Visayas region are also fiber-ready with the most extensive footprint in the cities of Bacolod, Cebu, Iloilo, Tacloban, and Tagbilaran. In Mindanao, PLDT’s fiber has now reached key provinces and cities, including Cotabato, Davao, General Santos City, Koronadal, and Zamboanga.

“As the demand for high-speed connectivity escalates, we are stepping up our efforts to make our most advanced broadband service accessible to more homes in the country,” Pangilinan pointed out.

In addition to being available in more areas, PLDT is making the Home Fibr service more affordable and enjoyable by introducing Plan 1899 which offers speeds of up to 50 Mbps.

PLDT Home Fibr delivers high-speed Internet of up to 1 Gbps, allowing ultra-fast browsing of multiple websites and the country’s first symmetrical speed service which provides equal upload and download speeds. This allows families to better enjoy more entertainment from renowned digital partners like iflix, Fox Networks Group, Netflix, Roku, and iWant TV, as well as greater security at home with monitoring device FamCam that lets you watch over your family wherever you are and FamZone that allows parents to keep their children safe online.

“With Fibr’s unmatched broadband performance and compelling content offerings, the digitally connected Smart Home is even more powerful than ever, proving that the strongest connections are in our fiber,” Pangilinan added.

PLDT has invested P300 billion or $6 billion over the last 10 years to roll-out the country’s most expansive network infrastructure. For 2016 alone, the telco leader has set aside P48 billion or about $1 billion for capital expenditures, a significant portion of which was allocated for the domestic fiber infrastructure.

PRESS RELEASE: Globe launches free eLibrary to benefit over 15M public school students nationwide

Sep 29, 2016
Globe Telecom launches the Global Filipino School (GFS) Library coinciding with the National Teachers Day celebration.

Over a thousand educational e-books appropriate for K-12 learning will be made available to over 15 million public elementary and high school students and some 500,000 public school teachers nationwide beginning September 30 as part of the Global Filipino School (GFS) program of leading telecommunications company Globe Telecom.

The GFS Library launch coincides with the National Teachers Day celebration of the Department of Education (DepEd) at Ateneo de Manila University in Davao City where Globe is one of the participants.

“With the expansion of the Global Filipino Schools Program and awareness of the GFS Library around the country, public schools can more effectively make use of reading resources and promote digital learning to more students and teachers nationwide, particularly in schools where access to quality books is limited and usage of technology for learning is not maximized,” said Fernando Esguerra, Globe Director for Citizenship.

GFSLibrary.com is a web-based platform that provides free and quick access to digital story books for children and young adults as well as textbooks on core subjects such as Math, Science, English, Filipino, Music, Arts, among others. The ebooks may be opened via their desktop, laptop or mobile device using any basic ebook reader.

The website is a component of the GFS program, a long-term Globe educational initiative that seeks to transform public schools into centers of Information and Communications Technology excellence and innovative teaching methods in order to set the stage for 21st Century Learning.

At the same time, Globe announces its partnership with schools in three Davao schools which will carry the GFS program. They are Catalunan Paqueno National High School in Davao City, Davao del Sur; Carmen National High School in Carmen, Davao del Norte; and Matti National High School in Digos City, Davao del Sur. This is in line with Globe Telecom’s ongoing activity to expand GFS to all 221 school divisions of the Department of Education (DepEd) nationwide within a five-year period.

Under GFS, schools are provided with unparalleled online connectivity to give homeroom teachers access to limitless teaching and learning engagements available on the internet that will help further improve their craft and make learning fun and interesting for the students.

The schools are also given a Globe Digital Laboratory package containing netbooks/tablets, wifi devices, and a mobile cart with a built-in projector screen and workstation while teachers are trained on ICT education and project-based learning through the GFS Master Teachers Workshop and Online Coaching Course.

All schools under GFS are intended to become teacher training hubs and training partners of the DepEd Division Offices in conducting teaching workshops for neighboring schools of each division. The workshops include lessons on Digital Thumbprint Program cyberwellness advocacy. DTP offers three exciting modules designed to increase students’ knowledge of digital citizenship and cyber safety by taking a critical look at their online behavior and helping them develop insights into the influences of the online world and the choices they are making.

Likewise, teachers in select schools are also trained in science through Globe and Mind Museum’s Science Wonder Workshop that is guaranteed to make classroom learning more fun, interactive, and interesting. Chamomile – The Chamomile used for this tea is sourced from Croatia. It provides the overarching flavor for this soft, soothing floral blend.

Teavana continues to be a strategic priority for Starbucks. Starbucks acquired Teavana Holdings, Inc. in December 2012, and together provide unparalleled expertise in the super premium tea category, bringing exotic blends, great flavors, wellness and innovation to customers globally.

Monday morning with Lotus Biscoff

Sep 5, 2016

Today’s supposed to be grocery day.

I forgot again.
I’ve been so busy with work I often forget the other things I’m supposed to be doing. I need to start work early to do other necessities, groceries included.

I wear my eyeglasses as my laptop starts to boot up. I get up and start to make myself a hot cup of coffee. I then turn to the cupboards with little hope of finding anything left.

I reach out farther, not able to see what I was even reaching out for because of the cupboard’s height compared to mine. I reach out a little more until I feel something wrapped in plastic. I take it out. I read the label as I walked back into the counter where I had placed my coffee. Lotus.

It was the biscuit I’ve received from last Saturdays event but never tasted. I sit back down, opened a pack and tasted it. I smiled as I heard a crunching sound and when the flavor dissolved into my taste buds.

It was the perfect pair! Its sweetness complimented the bitterness of my coffee.

I comfortably leaned back into my chair as I enjoy my food some more.

Today’s just another busy Monday and yet a little unique at a point. Because unlike the past ones, this time, it was a Monday I could enjoy.

Thank you #LotusBiscoff
