Visita Iglesia during holy week

I learned to appreciate the Visita Iglesia after doing it in Davao City many years ago while I'm still a graduating college student.
I did it several times over the years in Cebu, Bohol, DaanBantayan, and again back here in Davao.
As a fashion/art/architecture lover, I'm in for a Visita Iglesia so that I can reflect, and pray then sight-see and take photos.

Visita Iglesia is a common practice every Lenten Season. It's a chance to take my family, friends and special someone on a holy week trip to these churches.

The usual traditional  “Stations of the Cross”, but we just kneel in silence to think, reflect and pray about things we never had and will probably never have the time to linger on as the Holy Week ends and find that we have no time for silent recollection for the rest of the year.

  8. I miss going to this church since I was baptized as a Christian last year, I've no longer visited this church except San Pedro cause it's near to our house. But I still respect Catholic beliefs and tradition. Visita Iglesia is part of our Filipino tradition, rooted from our great grandparents generation and generation to come.
