I was invited by a fellow blogger ms. Ria Abella to join a food tasting in Digos yesterday together with other bloggers and press including Ms. Joji Alcantara. When I knew that our food destination was at Fiesta Sorpresa in Digos, my memory flashback during the time somewhere February or March 2012 when Fiesta Sorpresa just opened their restaurant, I treat my family to a dinner buffet at Fiesta Sorpresa to try their food, but I just learned yesterday that they no longer serve buffet since May 2012, instead they are now offering ala carte.

Sir Allan Echano, owner of Fiesta Sorpresa is also a fellow photographer and we both attended Nikon seminar held at Ponce Suites last 2011.

Fiesta Sorpresa offers all time Filipino favorites available in every fiesta from all over the country.

We were serve with their appetizer still hot Tainga ng baboy, and big servings of Sweet & Spicy Chicken Wings, Sinampalukang Manok, spicy Laing, Relyenong Bangus, Binagoongang bagnet, Humba and last but not the least kare-kare Tripe.

As they say, a trip to Fiesta Sorpresa wouldn't be complete without ordering their Ilocano inspired Binagoongang Bagnet and LOVED it!

I tried also their highly recommended Humba. The meat was very tender and flavourful with a hint of sweetness and you'll surely be ordering this again and again.

Imagine also their serving of HOT Spicy Laing with bits of shrimp and tender fatty pork, mixed with a coconut curry sauce and spicy green peppers. Yummy, good thing they serve unli rice.

They also recommended that I try their Fruit Shake Mixed Pineapple and Banana and I was hesitant to try but I suppose curiosity got the better of me as I tried, it was not disappointing, the combination actually taste good!

So next time, when in Digos, try out some of their local Filipino food! Try Fiesta Sorpresa beside Crisbel Hotel and get your Pinoy Food cravings taken care of! Remember that Fiesta Sorpresa also offers Tipid meals for budget meals below P100.

Good thing about their tandem is they really spread through the power of social media the marketing of Fiesta Sorpresa, they sponsored the recent event of X Factor Philippines and Weekend Getaway of Drew Arellano.
